We are very pleased to announce that the business of A&N Plant and A&N Europe was acquired by Red-D-Arc Welderentals part of Airgas, a NYSE Corporation, two of the biggest names in North America, to create an exciting new platform for growth here in Europe and beyond.

Effective from 4th April 2008, our business and all our employees now operate as a new business unit within
Red‑D‑Arc Limited, an Airgas company, which is North America's largest provider of welding, positioning and related rental
products and services. In addition, we are pleased to welcome Red‑D‑Arc's Andre Frenette, who will oversee the integration
of our business into the organization as Vice President of European Operations.
A&N Plant will continue to operate as we do today, so we look forward to continuing to provide you with the speciality equipment and services you expect, from the people you know, now backed by the resources of Red‑D‑Arc and Airgas.

A&N have continued to invest in new products to respond to our customer demands to increase production and reduce costs. This has been particularly important to those involved in the manufacture
of Windtowers.
A&N are currently involved in several Turnkey Projects supplying the complete production line including profiling, edge milling, bending, longitudinal and circumferential welding, assembly and painting.

EUROPE'S BIGGEST POSITIONER 250 TONNES
SOLD TO SICES SPA SARDINIAN WORKSHOP FACILITY ITALY
Having been awarded a most prestigious contract for the fabrication and erection of 15 large Heat Exchangers Sices SpA, based in Italy, needed to quickly source a large Positioner to manipulate the hemispherical heads for the Exchangers for weld overlay and assembly requirements.
A 250 tonne Positioner was needed but such a large Positioner to order as a new build would be priced in excess of €800,000 with lead times of over 12 months.
As luck would have it A&N Plant had such a machine available for immediate delivery. Furthermore we were able to supply the machine to Sices at a saving of over 60% on the price of a new machine and nearly 10 months in delivery time saved.

The largest Positioner we currently have at this time has a capacity of 150 Tonnes, which is currently on rental in Germany, this machine will soon be available for worldwide rental.
